Coach Fox began playing lacrosse in 1991 while attending UC Irvine. He was team captain, twice league all-star, and MVP of the 1994 WCLL College Championship Game. Head Coaching since 1996 in youth and high school, Jon has led teams to multiple Middle School and youth Championship titles, multiple High School Titles (‘00, - ‘04 Club; ‘06-’11, & 14 & 17 CIF) and 2 High School State Club Championship titles (‘03- ’04). He was head coach of the OCLA U-15 select team in ‘05 and head coach of the OC Jr. World team (‘98-’01).
Jon was OC High School Coach of the Year in 2007 by OC US Lacrosse and again in 2008, 2014 & 2017 by the OC Register. Jon is a charter member of the Positive Coaching Alliance, board member of OCLAX , & currently pursuing a master’s degree in coaching and athletic administration. Recent off-season coaching duties included coaching of the Under Armour West underclass command team (UA National Champs 2018) and co-directing the SoCal Express tournament Travel Teams.
Jon has been coaching lacrosse in Tustin since 1997 when 11 lacrosse players first walked on the Hewes field. In addition to coaching Foothill and OC Crush and Tustin Tigers youth lacrosse teams, Jon has helped lay the foundations for the first girls and boys lacrosse teams at Hewes, Currie & Pioneer Middle School, along with Tustin & Beckman High School, St John's, Salem & St Paul's school, Crean & Orange Lutheran HS as well as other programs within Orange County.
Jon directs the Lacrosse Academy Orange County, and makes his home in North Tustin with his lovely wife Kristy, and has three children; Joshua, Madeline and Luke. In his spare time, Jon also supports Young Life and Wyldlife youth groups, Lacrosse the Nations and other lacrosse programs within our community.

Coach Goto started playing lacrosse his senior year at Foothill High School and was a member of the first graduating class of lacrosse players at Foothill in 2001. Matt went on to play lacrosse at Chapman University and was named 1st team WCLL, All-American, Team Captain, and Team MVP in his senior season. After graduating, Matt jumped right into coaching at Chapman and was the offensive coordinator for the Panthers for four years, with back-to-back national championship appearances in the MCLA.
Matt was the founder of the lacrosse program at Mater Dei High School where he helped lead them to an OC Division II title in 2010. Matt Goto was also the co-founder of Best Coast Lacrosse in Huntington Beach, where he coached and steered the program for two years. Matt has his B.A. in Liberal Studies, Masters in Education, and started teaching Geometry and Computer Science at Foothill High School in 2013. Matt lives in West Side Costa Mesa with his wife Katie who also teaches at Foothill, daughters Sakai and Katana, and dog Drogo. He enjoys traveling, backpacking the globe, fishing, hunting, and all types of sports.

Coach Clay is a local product who attended Capistrano Valley High School in Mission Viejo. He was a 2-sport varsity athlete in football and lacrosse. Coach Clay was a 2-year captain and 2-time All-South Coast League selection while also selected as an All-American kicker in his senior year of high school. He was recruited to play lacrosse at Arizona State, where he was a 3-year starter. Coach Clay also served in student leadership and was the Vice President on the Players' board.
Graduating early in 3 years with a degree in communications, Coach Clay came home to Southern California and coaches a multitude of local teams, including OC Crush and SoCal Express. He has previous experience coaching at the national level with Ryan Boyle and Trilogy ICE. Coach Clay understands the game at many levels and can translate his tactics according to any age group. With over 5 years of coaching experience, Coach Clay is a major asset for the Foothill program. His youth will add value through his insight into the evolving game and he will prepare the players for the next step in the process.

Coach Morrison discovered his passion for lacrosse in 8th grade and played a pivotal role as a founding member of the St. Margaret's lacrosse program. His journey continued as he excelled in lacrosse at the University of Arizona and San Diego State University. Following his graduation, Coach Morrison embarked on a coaching career, starting at the University of San Diego before taking the helm as the head coach at Cal State Fullerton, clinching two SLC Championships. His prowess in coaching reached new heights when he became the defensive coordinator for Chapman University. During his tenure, Chapman achieved remarkable success, securing three SLC championships, seven final four national appearances, and a national championship in 2016. Beyond the lacrosse field, Kyle Morrison is a dedicated family man with three young children enrolled in Tustin Unified Schools. Kyle enjoys his spare time engaging in activities such as golf, fishing, and creating cherished moments with his family.

Coach Matt began playing lacrosse at Arapahoe High School in Littleton, Colorado, where he earned All-State honors as a junior. He completed his high school career at Cy-Fair High School in Houston, Texas, where he was again selected to the All-State team. After serving four years in the Navy and graduating from CSU Fresno, Matt rekindled his love for the game by playing in men's leagues in Houston and coaching youth teams. He also served as Assistant Varsity Coach at 7 Lakes High School. After returning to California, Matt became deeply involved in the Southern California high school lacrosse community. He served as Head Coach at El Dorado High School from 2014 to 2018 and has coached various OC Crush boys and girls teams since 2018. Now, he joins Foothill as the JV coach while continuing his work with OC Crush.

Alex “AJ” Strapp, a Villa Park High School alumnus, earned First Team All-League honors as a quarterback in football and played second base in baseball. He attended SCC and Mt. San Jacinto colleges and now serves as Manager of Engineering and Sales at APM Manufacturing. AJ's lacrosse journey began under the guidance of his father, Jack Strapp, an All-American goalie at The Ohio State University. He has also been mentored by Coach Fox and Coach Clay over the past eight years, coaching teams such as the Tustin Tigers, OC Crush, SoCal Express, and Foothill High School. With 27 years of coaching experience across lacrosse, football, baseball, and basketball, AJ has made a significant impact on Tustin youth leagues
and high school sports.

Brayden Webb, a 2019 graduate of Foothill High School, went on to earn a BS in Marketing from Purdue University, where he excelled as a lacrosse player, earning Honorable Mention All-Conference in 2022 and 1st Team All-Conference in 2023. He has coaching experience with the Tustin Tigers, helping young athletes develop their skills and passion for lacrosse, with a particular focus on goalie training. In 2024, Brayden returned to Orange County and now works in sales at Allegion. In his free time, he enjoys working out, golfing, and hiking.

Coach Joshua An, originally from Port Washington, NY, was a three-sport varsity athlete and a three-year lacrosse starter at Paul D. Schreiber High School. He went on to play three seasons at San Diego State as a defenseman, earning MCLA All-American, team captain, and two-time All-Conference honors while serving as team treasurer. After graduating in 2024 with a Finance degree, he is pursuing a career as a financial analyst. Now based in Tustin, he is excited to share his lacrosse knowledge and help players compete at a high level.

Coach Mo is a Long Beach, California native. He attended Long Beach PolyHigh School where he played football all 4 years. He helped lead the team to back to back CIFChampionships, State Runner Ups, and still holds the "Most Winningest" QB record at the school. Coach Mo received his B.S. degree in Exercise Science from Delta State University.
For the past 6 years he has worked with professional, elite, and rising youth athletes of all levels and sports to prepare them for the next opportunities. Whether working with a top NFL athlete or a rising star, Coach Mo applies the same passion needed to take their game to the next level while preparing them to be the best version of themselves.
